Printable wieght loss chart-great way to stick to diet

Weight RSS Feed

There are many ways you can track your weight loss and exercise goals, one of them is by finding printable weight loss charts to help you have a visual representation of your goals. Seeing the number of times you have exercised in a given time period or your weight over a period of time can be a great way to stick with your new found healthy routine.

Weight loss can be a challenge, changing your daily habits can be a challenge too. Anything that will help you stay motivated is well worth giving a try. There are many types of printable weight loss charts you can use, all you need to do is to do a search online. When you find one, print it out and put it where you will see it a lot, preferably near your refrigerator or your food cupboard. That way if you feel like snacking you will be more inclined to stop because you will see your progress and you won't want to mess that up.

So, basically figure out what you want to track, you don't need to track both your diet and exercise, you can track one or the other if you prefer. Of course, there is nothing wrong with tracking both, but it might get a little overwhelming keeping track of it all.

Once you've figured out what specifically you want to track you can just go online and find the chart that specializes in that aspect. If you can't find a chart, make one yourself. It doesn't have to be fancy. Just grab a blank piece of paper or a calendar and write out your goals on that. You can write out your target weight and the date by which you want to meet that goal, for example.

Along the way you can make weekly or daily goals to keep you motivated. Instead of focusing only on long range goals, you can focus on smaller, more easily achievable goals. So, if you want to lose 100 lbs. focus each month on losing 10 lbs. instead. Focusing on losing 100 lbs, can be overwhelming, but focusing on just losing 10 lbs. is much less intimidating than trying to lose 100 lbs. So, that way you have to lose 10 lbs. 10 times which may sound less overwhelming than having to lose 100 lbs.

You can use the same idea for exercising. Instead of forcing yourself to go to the gym for 30 minutes every day, why not concentrate on working out 3 times during your day for just 10 minutes each? That is still an effective method and "playing games" with yourself like that may make it easier for you to stick with your exercise. By breaking your workouts down into small "chunks" of time it will also be easier to find the time to workout in your busy daily life.

Finding printable weight loss charts so you can visually track your weight loss and dieting progress can really help. If you think that will be helpful for you than just go online to find the chart that targets the things you want to target: diet, exercise or both. Give yourself every tool that you can to help ensure your success.
