They may tell their man what to wear and how to behave before they head out for an evening. If you are going out with someone that he has had a fight or confrontation with in the past then it is understandable to tell him to be calm and avoid another confrontation. Although perhaps an evening out with someone he doesn't like is probably best to be avoided completely.
Another thing that irritates men is when women tell them how cute their best mate is. Even if you think your man's best friend is gorgeous, you shouldn't keep telling him this and you definitely should not flirt with his best friend. If your man is important to you and this is a relationship that you want to work then you need to think of his feelings when flirting with other men.
Women irritate men with their lack of decision making too. If a man asks a question he asks it with the hope of receiving an answer. If a man asks you what movie you would like to see then tell him, don't just say that you don't care and go along with whatever he suggests just to keep him happy. He is asking you what movie you want to see because he wants to make you happy. He doesn't expect you just to do everything he wants even if you hate what you are doing. If he doesn't want to see the same movie that you do and you don't like his taste in movie, then I'm sure you could come to some compromise but you can't make a compromise if you don't give him an answer to his original question.
Not all women do these things to irritate men, but these are quite popular answers when you ask a man how a woman irritates him. So if you think that your man is becoming irritated with you then check to see if you are doing any of these things.
