It is devastating when you are madly in love with a guy who doesn't feel the same way about you. You can't help who you fall in love with and unfortunately it does happen from time to time when a person falls in love with someone who doesn't love them back. It is painful and a very difficult situation to recover from. The good news is that as bad as it feels now, you will can past this and move on with your life to a much happier relationship with someone who will love you back.
Before you can move on from a situation like this you need to make the decision that you want to move on. I know you probably don't feel like you want to move on but until you make this decision then you won't be able to get on with your life. You can take as much time as you need to get over your feelings for this guy but don't spend too much time wallowing in self pity. Sitting around feeling sorry for yourself will not make you happy again and it certainly won't make that guy love you. You don't need to spend your life miserable just because one man didn't love you back. Really think about your life and whether one guy is worth being miserable for! No! You are worth more than that and no guy is worth spending your life miserable, if he doesn't love you then you are better off without him.
When you have realized that you are better off without this guy then you can move on with your recovery and with your life. You need to accept that he doesn't love you and that there is no point trying to make him love you. If you have tried everything you can think of to make him love you and he still doesn't then he is never going to. You can't force love; it is something that happens naturally. It is even possible that in the future you may see this guy with a new girlfriend, who is not as attractive as you are and wonder how he can love her but didn't love you. Like I said, you can't force love and you can't help who you fall in love with. It isn't all about looks or body shape, there needs to be a connection and both parties need to feel it. So don't wonder what is wrong with you and why this guy didn't love you, he just had different tastes.
You may feel angry and you may even grieve for this lost relationship that could never proceed further. You can take whatever action you feel is necessary to work through your anger and get it out of your system. You might want to cry, scream or break things, just do whatever it takes to get past this stage. Grieving for this relationship that cannot be is part of the healing process. You have lost a dream and a person that you loved, even though he didn't love you back you were still in love with him and it will take time to get over that.
The important point is to remember that you deserve to be with someone that loves you and loves you for who you are. There is a man out there waiting to meet you who will love you deeply and make you happy. But now, while you are hurting, turn to your friends as I'm sure they are willing to be there for you and help you in any way that they can. Go out with your friends and have some fun and actually start enjoying your life on your own, without a man. You will meet Mr. Perfect and when you do you will both feel the same love for one another. Your soul mate may be just around the corner waiting for you to move on with your life so you can meet him.
