Garage shelving and super heroes

Home improvement RSS Feed

When you were just a kid, your dream was to be a super hero. Unfortunately, somewhere along the way, you decided it was not such a realistic career choice and you pointed your life goals in a different direction. But there is still that little inkling in the back of your mind- why can't I be a super hero? Super heroes are well named, because they really are pretty super. Many of them can fly, some can make themselves invisible, some can run unbelievably fast, some can speak every language in existence, some can spin webs out of their wrists and some can turn into a puddle of silver goop that can get into all sorts of secret places (please don't tell me I'm the only one who watched that television show). Well, do I have news for you. No matter what career path you chose after abandoning your illustrious hope and dream of joining the world of super-dom, you can still become a super hero. You. Today. Granted, it is one of the super-departments that is usually looked over, it might not be in such a high demand as say, being able to lift an entire skyscraper with your pinky, but it is still a super hero skill, notwithstanding. You can become, wait for it, Garage Man! or Garage Woman, as the case may be. Now, don't go adding another "b" in there, you will not be driving a garbage truck with flames on the side. No, you will conquer all sorts of garages that have been long-lost to anarchy. You will institute yourself as the new leader and show things how to work together in peace. Everything will have its place, and everything in the newly-renovated room will bow to you as its newly instated and respected leader. And you can wear a cape. Cool, right? So, do you accept this mission? With this great power, comes a lot of fun. Oh, and responsibility, I guess. And don't forget the cape! If you do accept, please continue reading. If you choose to decline this opportunity, kindly do not read into the next section, as it contains confidential information appropriate only for the eyes of those truly dedicated to saving their garage and possibly others in need.
Wonderful, you are still here! I am so glad you have chosen to make garages around the world better places than they are today. Now, I have a little secret for those of you who have committed yourselves to this heroic cause: garage shelving. Seriously, these two little words will help you create more magic and heroic results than probably anything else you will ever find. In order to save the world from messy garages, the first step is always to get every single thing off of the floor. So, unless you have also been endowed with a super power of getting things to stick to walls and ceilings of their own accord, you are going to be requiring garage shelving and cabinets. Now close your eyes and imagine with me. Wait, don't close your eyes, then you can't read this. Now imagine that you are closing your eyes, and envision a garage where nothing has a place. Toys and tools and all manner of equipment is spread all over the floor of the garage and piling up against the wall. If there is even room for a car in there, it is nearly invisible thanks to the unbelievable amount of stuff that looks about to stage a coup and take over the entire house. Now, keep imagining, Harry Potter style, all of the things magically floating up and going onto and into the shelves and cabinets that have just appeared. They all swirl around in a sort of whirlwind for a minute, and then all settle perfectly into their new homes, and look as though they never belonged anywhere else. This, my friend, is what you can do with your new super powers, and all thanks to those two little words I gave you earlier.
Now, you might need a little help. What is a super hero without a sidekick, anyway? And there are numerous options so you will be able to find the helper that is perfect for your super style. Some of the most dedicated helpers I have found are Bench Solution Workbench, Little Giant (perfect sidekick name, right?), MonsterRax (almost sounds like your evil nemesis, but trust me, it will never let you down), and Stack-On. Even so, there are many other companies out there that will help you achieve exactly what you need to when it comes to using garage shelving to fulfill your role as Garage Hero.
