Suffering inflammatory and persistent acne for the majority of adolescence and young adult life can have a large impact on a persons confidence. Nationally one in five current acne sufferers are depressed because of their skin and 1.025 million of those suffering with pimples would rather be overweight than have acne.

Many have been desperate and tried every product available. People try prescription medication that can be seen as a last resort and still have no effect and can sometimes make acne even worse. Prescription medication can also have some pretty interesting side effects which should be avoided.

Typically, Australian acne sufferers try an average of three to four different acne treatments, but some are desperate enough to experiment with 15 or more.
